Our story, our mission, and our muse.
TourMuse started with a simple, nagging frustration: kids (and adults) who could see the whole world on a screen, but wouldn't step outside to see the real one. Our founders — a marketing strategist and a games-and-technology veteran — connected over exactly that problem, and one shared belief: life is better lived than watched.
So we built the thing we wished existed — a way to turn any place, any trail, any museum, any neighborhood into an adventure guided by real people, not outdated audio boxes or one-size-fits-all apps.
We believe the world belongs together, in real life. Engagement in the real world broadens horizons in a way a screen never can — and life is filled with more to do, see, and experience than any feed can hold.
To get the world moving — together, in real life, with curiosity and joy.
We move and connect our community by making the world fun to explore. That means turning every museum, trail, block, and backyard into a place worth discovering — and turning everyday people into the guides who make that discovery possible.
Every place — even a museum, a trail, or your own street — has a story worth telling, and anyone should be able to tell it.
Experiences shared in person create connections algorithms can't manufacture.
Exploring, learning, and having fun can be inspired by anyone — you don't need a huge following to be someone's Muse.

Every explorer needs a muse of their own. Ours is Trunky — the abstract elephant at the heart of our logo, and a nod to the oldest travel tradition there is: packing your trunk and going on a trip. Trunky is here to remind you that the next adventure is always closer than you think.
Life's a Musing.
TourMuse is built by Muse Entertainment — a team with backgrounds spanning Fortune 500 marketing, Disney Parks technology, and product design for Google and PayPal. We're parents, explorers, and creators building the tool we wished we'd had.
